It has been a long time since offering products and services are just not enough. Nowadays, consumers also want to live experiences.
Precisely with this objective in mind, the famous Swiss brand of Haute Horlogerie Audemars Piguet, founded by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet in 1875, has taken hospitality and the consumer experience to a new level, with the opening of its first AP House in Barcelona.
This new space is dedicated to both regular customers and those who are curious to discover new experiences. It is located on the second floor and not at street level, so it must be visited on purpose. It is also located in one of the most emblematic avenues of Barcelona, specifically in Passeig de Gracia number 37, just a couple of doors from the world famous work of Antoni Gaudí, Casa Batlló.
Designed as an authentic second home for lovers of Haute Horlogerie manufacturing, this and the six previous AP Houses that the group owns in America, Europe and Asia have always been created with the opinion of their clients in mind, to offer a space where the comfort and enjoyment of a moment with friends who travel around the world and share their passion for watches, would be a priority.
Now in Barcelona, since last March, this new AP House of more than 1,000 square meters with a rest area, comfortable sofas, another entertainment area - with table soccer - and bar included, merges the best of contemporary architecture with a spectacular design so that visitors can relax, reflect, connect or disconnect, while enjoying the impeccable service of the Audemars Piguet team.
"Our clients will have the option to invite their friends to lunch, hold business meetings or simply relax, if they wish," explains Brian Lavio, Country General Manager of Audemars Piguet Iberia.
Throughout the year, this AP House will also organize exclusive and informative events where guests can immerse themselves in the cultural universe of Audemars Piguet and discover the creations of the Manufacture and its exceptional and characteristic know-how.
And if that were not enough, thanks to the collaboration between the MACBA Foundation (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) and Audemars Piguet, art exhibitions will also be a constant. As Brian Lavio explains,
"We wanted it to serve as a platform where artists and gallery owners could exhibit their works of art, giving continuity to the support that the Manufacture gives to contemporary art", and thus favor comfort, and contribute to leisure and culture in the capital of Barcelona.
